Lipase Enzymes: Fat digesting powerhouses

Fat is essential for life. The brain is made up of approximately 60% fat!1

Fats are a major source of fuel for the heart muscle. The fact is, without these essential fats, life is impossible. Though many of us get enough fat in our diets, some do not metabolize it well. This inability is most likely a deficiency in the enzyme lipase.

Normally, fats are not digested until they reach the small intestine. By taking Lypo Gold with food, fat digestion may begin earlier and stress may be taken off of the gallbladder, liver, and pancreas.* This allows for better fat metabolism with far less energy being consumed to handle this task. When taken between meals, lipase may support  the body’s natural ability to remove fats from the blood and thus may help to maintain cholesterol levels that are already in the normal range.*.2,3

In addition, lipase digests fat, fat-soluble vitamins and balances fatty acids. Lipase deficient people may also have decreased cell permeability, meaning nutrients cannot get in and the waste cannot get out. Lypo Gold is recommended between meals, on an empty stomach, to benefit from the systemic value of the enzyme lipase as well as amylase, protease and lactase.* The best enzyme blend to take with a meal is Digest Gold which contains 4,000 active units of lipase (FCCFIP).*

What Are Enzymes?

Enzymes are biologically active proteins found in all living cells. Metabolic enzymes catalyze and regulate every biochemical reaction that occurs within the human body, making them essential for cellular function and overall health. Digestive enzymes turn the food we eat into energy which may be utilized by the body for various biological processes. Our bodies naturally produce both digestive and metabolic enzymes, as they are needed.
